A Midland recruitment consultancy is undergoing a major makeover to take advantage of the upturn when it comes.
Network Recruitment Partnership has moved offices and launched a new website.
Managing director Ken Wood said: “We don’t sit on our laurels and are determined to be fighting fit for the future.
“At the moment it is tough – very tough. Much depends on confidence and getting credit flowing once more.
“But once the recession is over we expect business to be buoyant as companies look to take back on some of the skills they let go.”
Mr Wood believes a return to growth could emerge around the third quarter.
NRP employs ten people and turns over £5 million – the aim is to double that. It specialises in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, the public sector and social housing.
It has around 6,000 people on its books and recently moved from Wolverhampton to new offices at 119 Hagley Road in Birmingham where a number of sister firms are based.
NRP is part of the AIM-quoted Network Group Holdings, which comprises 26 specialist companies and was floated out of Pertemps Group.
Mr Wood said: “The move has given us much improved facilities which will benefit both our staff and clients.
“The recession has forced a pause in our ambitions but we are determined to push on – we believe there is plenty of scope to take this company forward.”
He said the new website at www.network-recruitment.co.uk offered a beefed up service and fuller information.
“For a recruitment company like ours, specialising in both permanent and temporary staff, our web presence is crucial.
“This shows we are prepared to invest even in difficult times.”
NRP was formerly based at Darlington Street in Wolverhampton city centre.
