Would-be Dannys and Sandys will be lining up at the Rydell High School Bar on Friday 18 May when Redditch Golf Club stages an outdoor screening of the iconic move “Grease”.

The evening showing is the brainchild of general manager Kerry Alligan-Smith who hopes it will be the first of a number of outdoor community events at the Lower Grinsty Lane club.

“Grease is the most successful movie musical of all time, and we hope members, their families and friends will enjoy a fabulous evening.

“We are encouraging everyone to dress up as their favourite characters and gen up on the lyrics to all the iconic songs the film contains.”

As well as the Rydell High School Bar, movie fans will be able to dine at the Frosty Palace Eateries with barbecue food, vintage ice cream and lots more on offer.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets and seating. Tickets are £10. Gates open at 7pm and more information is available by ringing 01527 543079.
