Bond Wolfe Auctions announces June livestreamed auction date
Bond Wolfe Auctions, the UK’s fastest growing auction business, will be back with a bang on Wednesday 24 June with an online livestreamed auction expected to see more than 100 lots go under the hammer.
Chief executive Gurpreet Bassi said they had held back from announcing their first auction since lockdown was announced in March as they wanted to be sure they could offer their full appraisal, viewing and marketing services.
“We took the view early on that it was unreasonable to expect our clients to buy, sight unseen, and so deliberately delayed announcing any firm plans.
“The change in regulations over the last few days will enable us to undertake market appraisals, enable social distance viewings, take high quality photographs and 360 degree video tours to showcase our clients’ properties in the best light.”
He said it meant that Bond Wolfe Auctions could now offer its full marketing campaign and allow purchasers to undertake their usual due diligence.
“This means we can achieve the best result possible, on your behalf,” he said.
Prior to lockdown, Bond Wolfe Auctions had established itself as the Midlands’ leading auctioneer based on the number of properties sold, the percentage of properties sold, and the total amount raised in its first year in 2019.
Since launching in January 2019 the company offered an impressive 1001 lots, achieving an average success rate of 89% that raised more than £101.7 million in sales.
The first auction of the year in February 2020 set new records. Over £20 million was raised in sales and 203 lots sold out of the 213 offered on the day, representing an astonishing 96% sales success rate.
Gurpreet Bassi added: “We have thought long and hard about how we reintroduce our auctions in the safest possible way but also to produce the best results for our clients.
“We can offer social distance valuations of any empty properties or virtual valuations if access is not possible or if the property is occupied and you would prefer that we did not enter.
“Whichever the case, you can rest assured that the health and safety of our staff, clients and associates will always be our highest priority. We will continue to follow the latest Government guidelines, and we are equipped with face masks, shields, latex gloves, hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes to ensure there is no cross-contamination of any surfaces or door handles etc.”
Bond Wolfe Auctions will be revealing the lots to be offered as they are confirmed and loaded on its website from Wednesday 20 May, see www.bondwolfeauctions.com.
