CBGA announces hat-trick of new commercial property management appointments

CBGA Property Management, which has £3 billion under management and is part of Bassi Capital, has had a storming start to 2024, securing a hat-trick of prestigious management appointments.

The commercial property management company, with offices in Birmingham and London, has been appointed to oversee the management of the renowned Old Sorting House, an historic period conversion located in Islington in north London.

Richard Turner, managing partner at CBGA Property Management, said: “The Old Sorting House was formerly occupied under a single tenancy agreement and is currently undergoing a comprehensive redevelopment to transform it into a distinguished, multi-let establishment.

“This endeavour requires meticulous planning and execution as we navigate around the existing tenant occupying a portion of the premises.”

And CBGA Property Management has also confirmed its latest collaboration with Access Storage, the prominent UK self-storage provider.

Mr Turner said: “This strategic alliance now sees us taking on the management of common areas across four strategically-positioned Access Storage sites in south London, east London and Stevenage.

The third and latest appointment see CBGA Property Management continuing its existing relationship with Evo Industrial and Pinebridge Benson Elliot with instructions to manage two new logistics hubs in Corby and Warrington.

Mr Turner added: “Both developments are BREEAM Excellent and Net Carbon Zero and we will work alongside our facilities provider to ensure that the properties are maintained to an excellent standard, are statutory compliant and warranties are maintained for the benefit of occupiers.”

CBGA Property Management is part of the growing Bassi Capital group of companies which includes investments in Bond Wolfe, Watling Real Estate,  Real Estate Investors plc, Bond Wolfe Finance and Bond Wolfe Property Investment.

The business was formerly known as CBGA Robson LLP but underwent a comprehensive rebranding exercise in February 2024 to provide enhanced clarity and UK-wide reach as CGBA Property Management continues to grow from its current base of £3 billion in assets under management.
