A new division launched by Solihull-based DM & Co. Homes has been an outstanding success since its launch in early December 2021.

In just eight weeks, the firm’s Land & New Homes department has been instructed on four brand new residential developments in its area, and has many more in the pipeline.

Well-known land and new homes expert Chris Evans MNAEA MARLA was recruited by DM & Co. Homes managing director Dominic Murphy to bring his expertise to bear on opportunities for Midlands developers.

Chris Evans said: “Since we launched our Land & New Homes department, we have been instructed on seven new family homes in Tidbury Green, Solihull, with prices starting from £550,000.

“Five have already been sold within two weeks of the marketing launch.”

DM & Co. Homes has also launched two large luxury homes in Solihull town centre with prices from £850,000.

Ten new homes in Marston Green – a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, with prices starting from £250,000 – will come on to the market next week.

“We also have six new homes in Wythall to launch – no details yet – and we are currently working on a number of sites that will be ready to launch in late February, March and into the Spring.”

But it’s not just new developments that DM & Co. Homes has been successful in attracting.

Chris Evans said: “We are also incredibly proactive when it comes to sourcing and selling land, handling the majority of such opportunities off-market.

“Since we launched, we’ve tied up one large development plot in Knowle, one in Solihull and we have a good number of plots that are being dealt with off market and that we are preparing to launch on the open market within the next few weeks.”

Dominic Murphy added: “There is clearly a local appetite for a dynamic, forward thinking land agent, and Chris has been a breath of fresh air to local developers that have failed to create strong relationships with agents who often favour working with one, not, many developers.”

Chris most recently worked at Paul Carr Estate Agents in north Birmingham and before that was a land agent with Hunters in Knowle for five years. He lives in central Solihull.
