The Land & New Homes division of DM & Co. Homes has brokered a deal which will see a new, two/three bedroom bungalow constructed on Spring Lane, Hockley Heath.

The site has been sold with planning permission already in place by a private individual to a local resident seeking to build his own home on the land.

Chris Evans said: “We are very pleased to have secured this deal as the plot had been on the market for some time.

“The original purchaser failed to complete after a five month delay, and we were able to sell and complete on the site within two weeks at the second attempt.

“The level of interest in plots like this remains strong, particularly in a centrally located, very popular area like Hockley Heath and we would urge anyone with potential plots large or small to contact us for a confidential appraisal.”

The circa 0.2 acre site was sold on the open market for £225,000.

Ben Lyons at Thursfields Solicitors acted for the seller and the buyer was advised by Graham & Rosen Solicitors.
