Elevate appoints Knight Frank to sell Heaton House homes

Elevate Property Group has appointed agents Knight Frank to sell the 57 homes under construction at Heaton House in Camden Street, Birmingham.

The announcement comes as Elevate celebrates ten years in business and the delivery of 1,000 new homes during that period.

The 57 properties at Heaton House are part of a total of 494 homes that Elevate will have under construction during 2022.

Peter Smith, associate at Knight Frank New Homes Birmingham, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Elevate as selling agents for Heaton House, having worked together successfully on the sale of several of their previous sites.

“Elevate Property Group deliver tremendous developments in popular areas, and we are excited to be launching their latest project that will provide exclusive, quality homes in a much sought after area.”

Kavannagh Construction began work on the Camden Street site in May this year, and when construction is completed in the third quarter of 2022 it will provide 14 townhouses with terraced gardens, and 42 apartments including six loft apartments.

The project also includes the restoration of the historic Georgian mansion, Heaton House, originally a Regency villa that dates back to the beginning of the Jewellery Quarter.

The original Heaton House was the home of a leading Birmingham merchant, William Cotterill. It was an early 19th century villa on Camden Street, which at the time was part of the middle class suburban developments that grew up on the fringes of the city centre in Birmingham.

When completed, this will provide a luxurious 3,455 sq ft, five bedroom dwelling.

David Hofton, sales and marketing director, said: “Heaton House, during its refurbishment programme, will provide a prestigious marketing suite and show home for buyers wishing to see the quality and finish delivered by Elevate Property Group, while construction of the new build properties is underway.

“The scheme, which also includes 4,300 sq ft of commercial space, has on-site gated parking for the town houses, electric vehicle charging points and a bike park.”

Next year is set to be another record-breaking year for Elevate with the commencement of 258 apartments at Liversage Street Derby, 60 new apartments on the next phase of the popular Princes Gate development in Solihull, and 85 new apartments at Price Street, Birmingham.

The second phase of the Trent Bridge Quays development in Nottingham will also provide 58 new homes, with work also starting on 18 new homes at Edith Walk, Malvern.

2022 will also see the completion of 98 new homes at the Trent Bridge Quays project in Nottingham, 79 apartments at Priory House and the 57 homes at Heaton House both in central Birmingham.

Elevate Property Group has built a reputation for quality medium rise residential developments in the past decade and is acquisitive, constantly looking for more redevelopment opportunities.

The company recently celebrated ten years with a reception at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham for staff, suppliers and contacts.
