A husband and wife doors business is enjoying a major boost as customers flock to their new showroom following a move to Studley aided by commercial property experts John Truslove.

ACS Interior Doors now occupies the ground floor of Haydon House on the busy Alcester Road in Studley and, according to Jo Newton, is seeing an additional boost from passing traffic.

She and her partner Rob moved the business from the Needle Works in Redditch in August and say business is thriving.

“We have been busy since we started out four years ago,” said Jo.

“But we wanted somewhere that would give us a higher profile. Rob was in Studley and saw the ground floor unit at Haydon House was for rent. We got in touch with Ben Truslove, at John Truslove, and he has been so helpful.

“We were able to look around the premises and realised it was perfect for our needs. We sell and fit interior doors, with a wide range and a personal service from measuring up to delivery and fitting. We have two carpenters on the team and the key to our success has been personal service.

“But now we have been able to install a lovely showroom and, as well as our many regular customers, we are getting a lot of new people who just see us as they drive past, see our window display and then come back to see what we have to offer.

“Ben was really helpful throughout the whole process, coming back to us the same day if we had any queries – nothing was too much trouble.”

Ben Truslove negotiated a five year lease on the 582 sq ft of office and retail space on Haydon House with ACS Interior Doors.

He said: “This lease was, of necessity, organised on a tight deadline but we have been able to help an excellent, growing, business secure just the right premises to move them to the next level.
