Lockley lays on locally made marmalade to mark launch of latest luxury development
Luxury housebuilder Lockley Homes has begun work on its latest development – eight properties including one of its trademark bungalows – at Marmalade Lane, Honeybourne, near Evesham.
And at a special open day launch event early in the New Year, in conjunction with estate agents Nicol & Co, they will be giving away 300 locally made jars of marmalade made to Lockley Homes’ very own recipe.
Karl Lockley, joint managing director, said: “Marmalade Lane has something to suit households of all sizes. There are eight properties in total, ranging from two 2 bedroom houses, three 3 bedroom houses, two 4 bedroom houses and one 2 bedroom bungalow.
“What buyers can expect is luxurious country living in a sought-after location.”
As developers keen to meet modern standards of sustainability, Lockley Homes are once again using timber frame construction which is more environmentally friendly than conventional building methods.
The properties at Marmalade Lane will be predominantly faced with Cotswold Stone. It will be Lockley Homes first development marketed together with selling agents Nicol & Co.
Karl Lockley said: “We are excited at the prospect of combining Lockley Homes’ meticulous attention to detail with Nicol & Co’s new homes expertise on what will be another exemplary development.”
Matt Nicol said: “Lockley Homes are a business that is local to Worcestershire and Warwickshire, so they understand how to design developments that really feel at home in this lovely part of the country.
“At Marmalade Lane they are creating a range of different homes, including one bungalow, that are a contemporary expression of typical Cotswolds style, making use of pale-hued stone, tall chimneys and high gables.
“The interiors will combine every conceivable modern luxury with exceptional levels of comfort and well considered space.”
Each home will also have bespoke Shaker-style kitchens paired with the latest energy efficient appliances and featuring hand- painted doors, Victorian-style cornices to all feature shelving as well as stylish modern bathrooms, underfloor heating and the most advanced security features.
All homes have private parking and are accessed via a private road.
Marmalade Lane is on the northern edge of Honeybourne village, conveniently close to the station, and this latest development by Lockley Homes follows on from their Colwall Gardens and Kingsbrooke developments in Colwall, near Malvern.
The Colwall project followed the successful completion of six houses and bungalows in Feckenham, Worcestershire, in 2017. Previous projects include three luxury bungalows at Drakes Broughton and two executive homes in Great Witley.
Lockley Homes is an independent housebuilder that was founded by Tom and Karl Lockley in 2010, and has a growing reputation for producing luxury accommodation, particularly its unusual bungalow developments.
