MetroPM chosen to manage major apartments development in Essex

Estate management company MetroPM has been appointed to manage a major development of 110 apartments in Ilford, Essex.

Medici Close is one of 18 new contract wins in the past six months for MetroPM, which is based in Birmingham but has a growing national portfolio.

Medici Close consists of Tuscany House and Lorenzo House which provide modern accommodation situated handily both for access to central London and other parts of Essex.

The development is on the doorstep of King George Hospital and a short walk to Goodmayes Station which provides regular rail transport across London on the Elizabeth Line to Paddington in just over half an hour.

Ian Smallman, a director at MetroPM, said: “This latest appointment demonstrates MetroPM’s national reach.

“Our clients are seeking property managers with experience and dedication to providing the service they require. They want a firm that can manage modern living requirements in a swift and efficient manner.”

As well as constantly investing in people – staff numbers have almost doubled in the past two years – MetroPM also maximises use of the latest technology.

The business has made a significant investment in MRI Qube Property Management software which is cloud based and therefore available to all property managers, on site or in the office, at all times to update and track work in progress and management and accounting services.

Mr Smallman added: “The freeholder of Medici Close was keen to secure the services of an established property management company who could provide the skills and expertise in-house, not out-sourced, to manage modern living, compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.

“We are very pleased to have added this major development in the south-east to our growing, nationwide portfolio.”

Established in 2006, MetroPM provides day-to-day estate management services to a growing number of developers, freeholders and resident management companies nationally.
