Nicol & Co’s lifeline seminar for under-pressure landlords

Property, legal and financial experts will be putting the Worcestershire private rental market under the spotlight in an exclusive seminar being organised by the county’s leading independent estate agent Nicol & Co.

James Gwynne, lettings manager at Nicol & Co., said: “With demand for rental properties at an all-time high in the UK, and landlords under constant pressure from new and changing regulations, the days of the enthusiastic amateur investor are pretty much over.

“The private rented sector is growing as a proportion of the UK’s housing stock, with greater numbers of people forced to rely on it as house prices rise and social housing declines. It is expected to account for more than a third of the UK’s housing stock by 2032.”

Nicol & Co.’s Landlord Seminar takes place on Thursday 27 April from 6pm at The Old Barn Café, Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe, near Droitwich.

Matt Nicol, managing director of Nicol & Co., and James Gwynne will be offering their view of the current market in the county and the country.

They will be supported by guest speakers from estate planning experts and tax specialists Ormerod Rutter, as well as a legal review of landlord and tenant issues from Talbots Law.
