Siddall Jones reports continuing strong demand for smaller freehold business properties
Commercial property experts Siddall Jones have sold the former Enterprise Rent-a-Car premises at 722 Warwick Road in Tyseley, Birmingham to a home improvement business.
Madina Kitchen and Bedrooms has paid £475,000 for the 4,700 sq ft showroom, offices and substantial forecourt on a 0.25 acre site. The move will enable the business to expand.
Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones, said: “We are very pleased to have achieved a good result for a private investor client.
“The Midlands market for small freehold properties continues to perform very well and this property was no exception. We are now seeing a scenario whereby the majority of our freehold stock goes to best and final offers.
“We are pleased the property at 722 Warwick Road has been sold to an owner-occupier who will now invest in refurbishing the premises and growing their business.”
The property occupies a prominent position fronting the A41 Warwick Road at its junction with Wharfdale Road in Tyseley.
Law firm Sydney Mitchell advised the vendor and Wildings acted for Madina Kitchens and Bedrooms.
