Thursfields re-accredited with flying colours by The Law Society’s Lexcel quality mark
Top Midlands law firm Thursfields Solicitors has been re-accredited with The Law Society’s Lexcel certificate, underlining its focus on quality client care, compliance and practice management.
Lexcel is the respected legal practice quality mark, also setting the standard across the sector for risk management, HR, financial and information management, and file and case management.
Michelle O’Hara, managing director at Thursfields, said: “Our Lexcel accreditation is important to us as it reflects our colleagues’ commitment to client care and compliance standards.
“This year’s outcome demonstrates the skills and commitment of our colleagues, the strength of our strategy and the fact that we are fully committed to our customers.
“At Thursfields, we offer lawyers the chance to thrive in an environment which offers great quality work alongside a culture centred around belonging, well-being and equity.”
The LEXCEL’s assessment highlighted the firm’s “very effective management structure” and noted: “The directors are open and approachable and lead by example, with excellent team working and people as a result feeling valued.
“Senior management have long been committed to ensuring those with people management responsibilities receive all necessary training, and management development training continues.
“Compliance and risk management are strong and well established … standards of client care remain high, and the firm continues to attract and retain clients.”
Ms O’Hara said: “This kind of feedback both from colleagues and external assessment is what makes running a law practice so worthwhile.
“It was particularly good to hear that our new recruits felt everyone in the firm was welcoming and helpful, making settling in to the firm easy and straightforward.
“To ‘Thrive at Thursfields’ is one of our key goals for colleagues and clients alike.
“We know we cannot afford to be complacent and continue our focus on regional growth, enabling us to offer even more depth and breadth in legal services to our clients.”
