Two plush city centre apartments in Birmingham available in online auction
The chance to live in a luxury apartment in the heart of the Birmingham city centre is expected to excite bidders at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ next live-streamed auction on Wednesday 19 May.
A two-bedroomed unit is available at number 394 on the second floor of the Orion Building, at 90 Navigation Street, just yards away from New Street Station and the iconic Mailbox building, with a guide price* of £150,000+.
Or if you fancy a more panoramic view, there a one-bedroomed apartment at number 1109 on the 11th floor of The Rotunda, at 150 New Street, with a guide price of £165,000+.
The latter lot follows the successful sale of another apartment in The Rotunda at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ last online auction on 31 March, when the hammer came down on a two-bedroomed space on the fourth floor for £230,000.
James Rossiter, auction valuer at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “Both these apartments would make an idea purchase for a young professional couple, or for a landlord who wants to be able to offer luxury in such perfect locations.
“The Orion Building is literally two-minutes away from New Street Station, offering all the trendy shops and restaurants in the Grand Central shopping area, which then leads onto the famous Bullring Shopping Centre.
“The apartment in The Rotunda is a special place, with the 11th floor truly offering spectacular views of the city from a building that’s become synonymous with Birmingham and is one of the UK’s most prominent addresses.”
The Orion Building has a communal entrance with hall, stairs and lift, and the unit comes with a secure parking space, a concierge and intercom system.
The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and has a hall, open-planned reception room and kitchen with built in appliances, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, and benefits from double glazing and electric heating.
The Rotunda also has a communal entrance, hall, stairs and lift, with a concierge and intercom system.
The apartment has an open-planned reception room and kitchen with integrated appliances, along with the bedroom and bathroom with shower, and it benefits from triple glazing, electric heating and an extraction system.
The apartments are just two of more than 230 lots listed for Bond Wolfe Auction’s online auction which starts at 8.30am on Wednesday 19 May.
The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe Auctions’ website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet only, and bidders must pre-register no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 18 May.
This follows Bond Wolfe Auctions’ last auction on 31 March which raised over £30.2 million in sales, a new record for the UK’s most successful livestreamed auction.
