Worcestershire riverside plot with permission for two detached homes under the hammer at Bond Wolfe’s October auction

A plot of prime development land beside the River Stour will be attracting bidders from far and wide at Bond Wolfe’s next auction on Thursday 27 October.

The freehold residential development site is a fifth of an acre of land adjacent to 7 Hartlebury Road, Stourport-on-Severn, listed with a guide price* of £180,000+.

The site comes with approved planning permission for the development of two three-bedroomed detached dwellings, each with a study.

Colin Totney, land and development specialist at Bond Wolfe, said: “This site is just a mile and a half from the centre of the bustling inland waterways destination of Stourport-on-Severn and a mile from the historic village of Hartlebury.

“While there is residential development surrounding the site, it backs on to a quiet stretch of the River Stour.

“This is a hugely attractive area and the opportunity to build a pair of detached family homes with a river at the bottom of the garden will be very appealing to a wide range of investors and builders.”

The plot is broadly rectangular in shape and planning permission to develop two detached homes, subject to conditions, was granted by Wyre Forest Council in September.

Mr Totney added: “With our livestreamed property auctions, we are attracting interest from investors from across the UK and overseas, as well as from the West Midlands.”

The Stourport development site is among 158 lots due to appear in Bond Wolfe’s next auction from 9.30am on Thursday 27 October.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
